HOOP EVENTS IN 2007

Here are some of the events where you can take part in a Hoopswhirled workshop, do some hooping out in the sunshine (well, outside anyway!!), try a taster hoop class or see a demonstration or performance:

• 27 September - Corporate Event - hooping taster sessions at All Star Lanes in Holborn.
  Introducing lots of people to the joy of the hoop at an event with a 1950's theme. Great fun!



• 2 September - Informal Hoop gathering at The Grove, near Alexandra Palace, N10 (map)
  The weather report suggests it will be dry... Bring a hoop and whatever you think you wil need.
  Hope to see you there!



• 22 July - Informal Hoop gathering at Priory Park, Park Road, London N8. Map.
  Weather reports are not brilliant, but in a spirit of defiance, I think we should gather and hoop.
  I will have a few hoops with me, but please bring a hoop if you have one and anything else you need (water / suncreen / umbrella etc). Hope to see you there!



• 21 July - TMO Funday, Holland Park, W8. From 1.30pm-4.00pm.
  Private event with hooping workshops throughout the afternoon.



• 8 July - Brent Respect Festival, Roundwood Park, NW10.
  From 4.30pm to 6.15pm - two 'taster' lessons and hooping demonstration.



• 7 July - World Hoop Day - Whatman River Park, Maidstone, Kent.

• 1 July - Informal hoop gathering - postponed due to Met Office severe weather warning!



• 23 June - Teddy Bears Picnic, Valentine's Park, Redbridge.
  Hooping playshop for kids - 1pm - 2pm.



• 17 June - informal hoop gathering
  Priory Park, N8. 2-4pm approx. Bring a hoop and whatever you need.
  There will be music, but I can't guarantee sunshine...

If you are running an event and you would like to include hooping as a workshop or 'taster' class, please contact us to discuss your ideas and requirements! Weather permitting, we can now offer a fully portable sound system for music and vocal amplification to suit almost any event.
